Prayer of Glowing |
| Behold! [Be aware! Be awake!] Now is the accepted time… Now the Eye of my eyes is open, Now the Ear of my ears hears, Now the Mind of my mind knows, Now the Love of my love glows. I and my Father are one. |
The Prayer of Glowing reveals the Metapsychiatric understanding of Christ’s
words: “God is Spirit, and they that worship Him must worship in spirit and truth”
(JN 4:25). If we worship in spirit, we are not using words; we are not in the
dimension of time, and we are not thinking of the future or the past. We are
suspended in the “Eternal Now” – our prayer is nonverbal, timeless, existential.
When our consciousness is filled with Love-Intelligence, we glow. We are not
talking to God - we are participating in what God is and manifesting it. Such a
consciousness, which is imbued with the knowledge and awareness of God’s
infinite love, power and presence and which is humble, grateful and devoted, is full
of light; it glows inwardly, and this light manifests itself outwardly. There is radiance
around such an individual, and this “glowing” will attract suitable experiences and
opportunities to him or her. “All things will work together for good” – effortlessly,
efficiently and effectively – and life will be full of blessings. The “Eternal Now” is
always accessible to consciousness at any point in time or space.
